Enhancing connectivity for the China Square Precinct Master Plan

The “China Place” name was coined with the aim of revitalising this precinct adjacent to Chinatown. The brand identity was derived from a Chinese lattice window design. It captures the idea of being "a window of timeless vibrancy".

An environmental wayfinding system was developed, consisting of building markers, directional and circulation signs, all featuring the lattice motif.

Local artists were commissioned to create murals that depict the area’s heritage while injecting humour.
